For a renovation whose priorities need clarifying, this preliminary study connects your daily life with the realities of your home. Preparation, an in-depth conversation, an assessment of the existing layout and a presentation establish uses, constraints and guiding principles. You receive an assessment, a clear order of priorities and a design brief.

The OKO Process: develop a coherent design
Once the needs are clear, we develop the spatial response: plans, volumes, materials, lighting, furniture and details. We prepare the project and help guide decisions. The design package and any further support are defined in the proposal; full operational site supervision is not automatically included.
Room Edit: rethink a room
For a focused question of layout, furniture and the overall coherence of a room. We agree the scope, deliverables and terms with you before starting. If the project calls for a broader renovation strategy, Portrait de Vie first helps establish the priorities.
Commercial spaces, collaborations and furniture
The studio also designs commercial spaces, supports other professionals on specific projects and designs furniture for a precise use. The scope is agreed for each project; design, fabrication, purchases and building work remain separate items.
